Doctrine: Why mankind is the high point of creation: because we possess immortal souls and are accountable to God.
Exegesis: The glories of man, in creation: we are designed to reign with God (vv. 24-26), reflect God (v. 27), enjoy God (vv. 28-30), and please God (v. 31).
Further application: The church's honorable reactions to God's creation (an re-creation) of us: let us exercise regal responsibility and humility.
