The doctrine of the providence of God is misunderstood by many at a time when it provides comfort and courage to troubled believers. In Psalm 100, we see this theme of God's providence in the exaltation and response of the Psalmist on behalf of God's people. We take up this Psalm with reference to Lord's Day 10 of the Heidelberg Catechism (written in 1563 and still upheld as a faithful summary of God's Word in our Reformed churches).
May you be blessed to know the love of God in Christ and the fellowship of God your Shepherd!
