INTRODUCTION: Jesus has now eaten the Passover with His apostles and introduced them to the Lord’s Supper. He announced that He would not drink of the fruit of the vine with them again until He drank it new in His Father’s kingdom (Matthew 26:29). Now the time of His betrayal has arrived. He told the disciples that they would all be offended in Him that very night. He goes to the garden of Gethsemane to pray until the time of His arrest.
