As I use the term legalism, in this context, I mean thinking there is something you must do in the place of, or in addition to what Jesus did, in order to be saved. The same false gospel that Paul confronted in Galatia is being proclaimed in pulpits around our world today. This passage urges us to stand fast in our liberty in Christ. This message, which includes the pastor's sad attempt at writing some rap music, seemed to be well-received by our church family.
