We are reminded that even though the apostle Paul is such a prominent figure, he did not minister alone and the effectiveness of the ministry that God was accomplishing through Paul was carried out in the context of many others joined with Paul in the ministry of God's truth. We want to keep our perspective. There are a variety of gifts and we are used in a variety of ways, but nothing is accomplished in the work of God apart from His sovereign activity, and we are all together His servants. So our appreciation is of Him and His work in us.
