This session concludes our "interlude" of specifically looking at suffering. In this we see how the unbiblical ways of approaching suffering (like penance) needed to be removed and the center put back on the Word of God. In looking the Christ crucified we have victory. The idea of "lament" is also discussed. The video part of the study can be viewed here as well: https://www.bigmarker.com/pitts-theology-library/Kessler-Conversations-The-Reformation-of-Suffering. The next session will resume looking through the chapters of the book of Job.
