Doctrine: God's will always conspires for the good of Christ's Church. Though God's will is cosmic and supremely intricate, nevertheless, it may be known by us, in terms of the grand scope of things.
Exegesis: The lovely flow of the will of God: Christ's incarnation fulfills the purpose (end) of creation (vv. 9-10); Christ's atonement provides a complete and sufficient treasure for the Church (v. 11); Christ's resurrection enflames and propels the Saints' praise (v. 12).
Further application: How to think about the will of God: Understand that the will of God is already perfectly fulfilled in our Lord Jesus Christ, and know that the Church's entire role is to celebrate this glorious fact.
