In this expository sermon Dr. Felker shares the great Scripture passage about the condensation of Christ from heaven's glory to earth's suffering and shame. Though Christ was equal with God the Father, He did not insist on holding on to His honor and position as God, but emptied Himself of such prerogatives of deity and humbled Himself, even to the level of a slave who was condemned to die (for us). If He was willing to so humble Himself, we should be willing to humble ourselves, especially for the sake of others. As Christ as rewarded and will be exalted before all, even so we can be rewarded if we follow His example.
