There is something very interesting to be found in 1 Kings 19d I wonder if anyone else has noticed it. If I were to ask all of you to tell me something about Elijah most if not all would have some thing to say about him. If I were to ask you to tell me something about what is recorded here in 1 Kings 19 some might bring up Jezebels letter, Elijah turning fearful, some might talk about his time under the Juniper tree. There would be those who would point out that while he was there in the cave in the mount of God the mighty wind, the great earthquake followed by the raging fire, and finally the still small voice. It could be that there would be some who would mention that Elijah was to go and ordain three select men for certain duties. That is a lot in this one chapter. Lastly if I were to ask who was Elijah's servant people would respond with..... Elisha. And while at the close of the chapter Elisha is his servant there was another.
