Now more than ever the 2nd Commandment gets at the heart of issues like our image- what drives us - who we are - as "Image Bearers of God."

What are we to render to Caesar? Timely question in this election season - -at least be aware of what our candidates stand for as you vote. -Make it a first priority to pray for them.
What are we to render to God? Everything But in light of the image stamped on the Roman coin, we are to render ourselves since we are made in His image. We are image bearers of God, but that image is distorted and cracked. There is One who perfectly reflects the image of the invisible God and it is through Him that we can approach God, offer acceptable worship to God and increasingly reflect the glory of God in our own selves. As we receive Christ we can begin to reflect the glory of His image in our lives.
