Therefore, a biblical conviction is a conviction or a belief derived from and based on the Bible as being God’s revelation to man. For the Christian, God’s Holy Word is the absolute index for the whole of our lives—faith and practice. There is a difference between something we might believe as true, and something that we have a conviction about. “A belief is something you will argue about. A conviction is something you will die for!” This message examines whether we have a conviction about those things we know to be true or whether we simply regard them as preferences.
