New Heart, New Spirit_36Pt1 Introduction to Ezekiel 40 the Millennial temple design.God has always wanted His people to have a very special place where they can worship Him and seek His face in prayer. From the beginning of history, God's people have worshiped Him at some kind of temple or sanctuary. They have sought His face at places ranging from the beautiful surroundings of the Garden of Eden to altars built from rocks in open fields. They have worshiped Him in tents and huts as well as in enormous temples and churches. There are at least three reasons why God wants His people to have a sanctuary or temple, a very special place set apart for worship and prayer: 1.Because the worship center symbolizes the Lord's presence, a place where His presence is manifested in a special way and can be experienced by the true worshiper.2. Because the worship center is the place where people can meet God for special worship, whether seeking the LORD individually or as a corporate body in worship. 3. Because the worship center stands as a testimony to God's Name, that He is the living and true God who is to be worshiped and served.
