Exegesis: We are transformed by the gospel of Christ. The gospel of Christ transcends us (v. 11) and encounters us (v. 12). We are transformed by the grace of Christ. The grace of Christ arrests us in our ignorance (v. 13), in our ambition (v. 14), and in our tracks (vv. 15-17). We are transformed by the power of Christ. The power of Christ gives us credibility (vv. 18-20) and joy (vv. 21-24) with God's people.
