Notice that for David, for Ezekiel, for Jesus, and for Paul, their eschatological focus – their conviction that everything will be made right in the end, also results in a conviction that therefore some things will be made right now.
Not necessarily in the way that you might wish! But if we worship a God who will make things right in the end, (and especially, since he is a God who has already begun to make things right in the resurrection of Jesus!) then we should expect that he will begin to make things right even now – especially in the church.
