God directs everything for our good and salvation (vv. 28-30) FIVE POINTS: I. God defines our good (v. 28). II. God's children have a promise (v. 28). III. God really means all things (v. 28). • But God says, "all things" not some things or other people but not your situation, etc. He means (the good, the bad, and the ugly) — even your failures, sins, and stupidity. Let me spell out EIGHT scenarios rapidly to show this. 1. Bad health; 2. Bad Marriage; 3. Bad Relationships; 4. Bad Financial Situation; 5. Besetting Personal Issues; 6. Terrible Event(s); 7. Difficult Situation; 8. My Wicked Sins IV. God tells you what He is doing in your life (v. 29). V. God is going to keep you to the end (v. 30).
