The Parable of the King and His servants is about forgiveness. How many times should I allow myself to be offended and keeping forgiving? 70 times 7? We cannot take this literally; that if we get to 70 times 7, we stop forgiving. We must discover what Jesus means by this. The King is representing God. The Servants are professing Christians. 3 things we want to see: 1st - The Servant's Dilemma. 2nd - How he was demeaning to another. And 3rd - How the King handled this situation. Forgiveness is releasing someone from a debt they owe you. It is a moral debt that you have to someone else. We as God's people need to be a forgiving people.
