Theme: Believers are to mourn all the brokenness of this present world while finding joy in who Christ is, what He has done, and what He is yet to do. The Bible teaches there is a time to mourn, and we should mourn over our personal sin, over the unrighteousness of others, and over the world's brokenness. There is also a time to be happy, and as Christians, we can always be joyful no matter the circumstance. We can have joy in forgiveness of sin, and even in our trials, in others trusting in Christ, in God's goodness, and in our future hope of restoration. |
