And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean." -Matthew 8:2
"What a scene this must have been; the leper, his very skin falling off the bone. Diseased and ready to die, an outcast among community... and he came to Christ. He said, "lord."
The moment we come to Christ, the moment we understand who He is and what He has done, we recognize His lordship. We surrender ourselves and leave it entirely up to Him to save us.
We come to Christ, not with any strength left within ourselves; we've been fighting with our flesh for so long, we come to Him, broken, begging for mercy.
Everything we feel on the inside, at that moment, that change that takes place that leads us to Him, it is entirely God's will that we are saved!
