Does It Really Matter Which "Truth" I Believe? John 3:19-21:8:31-36 Knowing the TRUTH of Christ is the only way we can experience freedom. For much of our history, America has been a place where biblical principles were acknowledged. But today we live in a time and culture when biblical beliefs and Christian presuppositions aren't always assumed to be true. Culture has been steadily changing, and Christian ethics are no longer assumed or embraced. This series in Bible studies for life looks at six prominent questions often used to attack the Christian faith. Examining these questions in light of Scripture gives Christians solid footing for their beliefs and helps them speak graciously and knowingly with those who question their beliefs. When we know what we believe—and why we believe it—we can stand with assurance in the truth of Christ. Consequently, we speak with confidence as we have opportunities to talk with others about Christ.Questions—even objections—about our faith can arise, but our witness for Christ isn't hindered because we know how to respond. In today's culture, people want us to assume that truth is what the individual makes it to be. If that's true, then the concept of truth becomes non-existent because two opposing views can't both be true. That viewpoint might lead some to conclude that truth doesn't matter. Yet because that notion is so illogical, we should be driven to the opposite conclusion: There must be a singular truth that applies to all people. Scripture points us to that truth, and it's found in Jesus Christ.Embrace the truth. Chase darkness with light. Share the light
