Rev. Stephen Welch was converted to Christ in High School. He was raised a Roman Catholic and desired to enter the priesthood, but the Lord in His amazing providence brought him to saving faith in Christ, when he came to discover that Christ alone was the only mediator between God and man. He was raised a Roman Catholic and desired to enter the priesthood, but the Lord in His amazing providence brought him to saving faith in Christ, when he came to discover that Christ alone was the only mediator between God and man. He later came to the reformed faith after serving for six years in pastoral ministry and received his MDiv degree from Knox Theological Seminary in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He served as an intern and later an assistant pastor at Coral Ridge Presbyterian under the ministry of the late, Dr. D. James Kennedy. He has served as a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America and served at the historic Coldenham Reformed Presbyterian Church in Walden, New York. He is currently a minister in Hanover Presbytery. He is married to his wife, Rose Mary Welch and currently lives in Eastern Tennessee. | more | less
