For decades engaged in researching the surviving literature of the Reformation in Italy, he wrote the biography of Italian martyr Goffredo Varaglia (2007), edited the biography of Galeazzo Caracciolo (2013), of Luigi Desanctis (2014), as well as writings of Pietro Martire Vermigli, Francis Turretin, Francesco Truchi, Agostino Mainardo, and Niccolò Balbani. In the English language, for Truth & Life Publishers, he wrote "Understanding the gospel" (2016), edited The Life of Henrietta Shuck, 1817-1844 (2016) and writings by Reformed Baptist authors such as Hercules Collins and Caleb Evans.
