Both have degrees in Music Education from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO, and Mark has a masters degree in trombone performance from Wichita State University.
During their time in Wichita, Mark was a member of the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, and Diana began her career as a piano teacher. In the years following, Mark gained experience as a band and choir teacher in western Kansas, and K-5 music in Kansas City, while Diana continued to teach piano.
They both joined the staff in a part time capacity in 1993. Serving God in leading the RBBC body in corporate worship is no small task and their dedication to bringing worship through music is a blessing to all.
Mark and Diana continue to develop musical excellence through the Highest Praise Choir and Orchestra, Sounds of Praise youth choir, Sonshine Singers children’s choir, RBBC School of Fine Arts, and various groups to give RBBC musicians opportunity to express their talents to the glory of God.
Currently, Mark is a computer systems engineer for the Cerner Corporation, and Diana works for the University of Kansas Cancer Center. They have 4 musically talented children, Paul, Benjamin, Stephen, and Sierra and have one granddaughter, Adeline, who is expecting a sister to arrive in August of 2018. | more | less
