Pastor Smith is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Bible and Westminster Theological Seminary, also in Philadelphia. He is now retired after many years of service in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC), including 17 years as a missionary to Taiwan, and concluding as pastor of Bethel Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Wheaton, Illinois.
