Jason served as a helicopter pilot in the Navy for seven years prior to attending seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. Following seminary he was ordained as a Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and subsequently served another 13 years as a Navy chaplain. Following seminary he was ordained as a Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and subsequently served another 13 years as a Navy chaplain. He has been a chaplain aboard ships, in a Navy hospital, and at the Navy’s flight school in Pensacola. He also has a degree in pastoral counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He says there were tremendous opportunities to minister in the name of Christ to men and women in uniform. He served a tour in the Persian Gulf and another in the Horn of Africa during the current war before retiring last year. He is currently completing a one-year clinical residency at the VA hospital in Tampa. | more | less
