In the life of the church great prominence is given to prayer and expository preaching.
Mr Carmichael serves as Chairman of the Scottish Council of the reformed missionary organisation UFM Worldwide as well as being a member of the United Kingdom national Council. He is also Chairman, and a founder member, of what is now Scotland’s premier preaching and teaching conference, namely, The Scottish Reformed Conference.
