“What is racism?” Here is a definition that we all should keep in mind.

RACISM DIVIDES PEOPLE AGAINST EACH OTHER
Good people are made to be our enemies, only because of the color of their skin, the slant of their eyes or the texture of their hair.
RACISM DIMINISHES THE VALUE OF INDIVIDUALS-THE RACE AND THE RACIST
The person who sees another person or race as being less than himself is a lesser person.
RACISM DESTROYS MORALS
The standards by which we accept or condemn immoral behavior is often based on the race of the individuals involved. So immorality is condoned because “they are one of us.”
RACISM DENIES PRINCIPLES
Racism causes people to ignore the principles of truth and justice. It accepts falsehoods and lies simply because we favor our own race and are prejudiced against other ethnic groups.
RACISM DULLS VISION
The good of an individual or their wrong conduct is colored by racism. We are made to see only good and bad through glasses that are colored by racism.
RACISM DOWNGRADES A COMMUNITY
No community is a good community that condones racism. Good neighbors are viewed as bad neighbors because of their race. The duties and responsibilities of neighbors and citizens to each other and laws are denied simply because of race.
RACISM DEFRAUDS PEOPLE OF FRIENDSHIPS AND AMBITIONS
Friendships are made only with people of a certain race. It robs individuals of the benefits and enrichment from the friendship of people of other races. Simply because of their race, individuals are robbed of their potential of development and success .
RACISM IS ANTI-CHRISTIAN, IT VIOLATES THE TEACHINGS OF THE BIBLE

“If ye fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.” James 2:8-9

The Holy Trinity, God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are not racist. The Gospel and the Bible are not racial. It is the work of Satan to divide people. He divides nations, communities, races, denominations, homes and individuals that he might destroy them. We are doing the work of Satan when we allow our cultural or racial differences to divide us in our communities, our schools, our work and our churches. It is un-American and it is un-Christian.
