Many are making plans to live, but few are making plans to die. No person is really prepared to live until they are prepared to die. The Bible says we have an appointment with death even though we do not know exactly what day or hour it will occur. Be ready in case he calls today! The word of God tells us in Hebrew 9:27, “And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”

One minute after death it won’t make any difference whether we lived in a mansion, had a hundred servants and ate from expensive dishes! It won’t matter whether we drove a fine car or rode a donkey into town. After the last breath is gone, it won’t make any difference whether we own Wall Street or have all the money in this world. When life on earth has passed away, it won’t matter if we were minimum wage earners or drew a president’s salary.

What will make a big difference is whether we had a new birth before our heart stopped beating. One minute after death, it will be Heaven or Hell for us. You may not hear much about it today, but God’s word, called the Bible, has not changed; neither have the fires of Hell stopped burning! One who refuses to repent and accept Jesus as their Savior and Lord must spend eternity in Hell. Those who do repent and accept Jesus as their Saviour will enjoy the glories of Heaven for all eternity. I am only a news boy called of God to warn you of a Hell to miss and a Heaven to gain.
