Pray for Michelle as she goes to Africa for 6 months at the end of this week.
Pray for Karen, that both her and the baby may be kept healthy as her pregnancy date draws nearer.

For the local area - Wood Green Thank the Lord very much for a very gifted evangelist in the church. Pray for his protection and encouragement, and his continued use in the church. Thank the Lord too for a great door of opportunity that has opened to share the gospel with students from South East Asia. A number have professed faith. Please pray for them and especially for those who have recently returned to their homeland. Please pray for wisdom for Barry as he pastors the church. With the church still only recently merged from two churches there are, no doubt, still many issues there to be both dealt with and discovered. Pray for great gospel unity and gospel fellowship, that the whole church may see each other as fellow-workers with each and with God in declaration of the gospel of Jesus.
WIDER CHURCH NEWS: Siberia - Irkutsk - Grace Church - Sergey Mochalov Please remember to pray for our brethren ministering in Siberia and for the church of the Irkutsk region. The region of Irkutsk is about the size of France and is located above Mongolia in Russian Siberia. The work of grace in this region continues to progress despite the great opposition from Orthodox adherents and Arminians. Brother Sergey and his fellow-workers in the gospel are often the subject of much malice and ill treatment. The brethren continue to look for new fields to plant the gospel seed, with opportunities existing further east toward the regions of Buryatia and Chite. Sadly there appears to be new attempts to silence the gospel in Russia, with attempts by the government to prevent foreign missionary efforts underway. Sergey Mochalov writes βWe had conference from April, 10 till April, 12th. We investigated the Bible, and studied baptist confession. We take for a basis for studying " Baptist confession of 1689 ", and the educational Bible John MacArthur. We ask you to remember us when you will be in a pray before a throne of grace! We support 2 missionaries - pastors, and our gathering leave for support of ministers. We ask for you prayers for us and our needs, and to help us for the sake of the Christ!β
