For the local area Epsom is the church on our Prayer Diary for the coming week. The church correspondent writes: "We praise God for increased membership during the year, but pray for the Lord to save, so that many will be added to His family."
For the wider area Sumandig Christian Church- Bulacan, Philippines - Richard O. Balangon Iβm Richard O. Balangon. I have engaged now into an oversight of a group which is Charismatic in background. Itβs been two years now that I regularly preach and teach in this congregation. They only have a part time pastor because this group is yet still unable to support the ministry. I am currently studying at Grace Ministerial Academy of Cubao Reformed Baptist Church. Iβm into my five years in this academy. I subscribed to the Reformed Theology and holds to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith as expression of my belief and practice.
The Sumandig Christian Church is consisting only 15 people, who consistently gathered for worship in the morning and studying together at Adult Bible Class. We are now on the process of covenanted church membership. Also, of some changes according to the New Testament church order such as Biblical church government; Regulative principle of worship; Christ-centered preaching; mandates of the Ordinance and Discipline; Evangelism...
In March, the church will have a Thanksgiving Service for 17 years of existence.
There are lots of opportunities to advance the Gospel. Last, year I started a Daily Vacation Bible School for children. The response is positive that they were really interested in studying God's Word. This year, weβll be planning to focus on evangelistic enterprises: Holy Week Gospel Preaching β which I will revisit the Sayings of Jesus on the Cross. It will be held on April 15. The members will invite people in the community and weβre planning to give Free Tagalog Bible to those who will attend. DVBS for Adult and Children in May. Regular tract distribution in the community Home Bible studies. Here are some items to pray and work on: Repairs and finishing touches in the place of worship. Computer set needed for preaching and teaching materials Financial support for free Tagalog Bible and needs during the DVBS Provisions of the Lord to support me β this church desired me to be their pastor in full time course yet unable financially Importantly, conversions of people through the ministry of the Word.
