"Mission for us is, first of all, living where we are. It's not going to a foreign place. It's living in the present place as a witness for Jesus Christ, as salt and light as one with a message to share with the people who are hassled by everything."
These are the opening words from a sermon delivered May 15, 2011. It is the first in a series entitled The Sermon on Mission and is a powerful reminder of what we in the church are called to do. Jesus is our example in this sermon.
