I continue unconvinced that the intenet provider has our problem fixed. We are still getting interruptions just about everyday and sometimes several times per day. So we will continue with the workaround today. If the internet webcast is interrupted during the 2:00 service, it will be available for streaming or for download listed as the AM service today and the title being "Bearing The Sins of Many." I think you will find it very instructive.
The difficulty arises because of the encoder software we are using. When we drop out live, we have someone on the scene who can make a reconnection. Sometimes there will be three to five dropouts in a single service. The difficulty arises in the afternoon because we are streaming a recording of the AM service. When the internet drops out, even if we have someone on the scene to catch it, the file goes to the beginning rather than starting whee it dropped.
We at FPCR sincerely hope this is not too great a hindrance. Remember also, by doing things this way you can begin at any time of your choosing. We will replace the entire worship service with the sermon only tomorrow 8/15.
