“Coffee with Christ”

(2 Timothy 3:16)
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

Do you believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God? If so, which Bible? I know there is only one Word of God and that it never changes nor contradicts itself, but there are many translations of the Bible into English and many come from different sources, manuscripts. So, how do we, or even can we know for sure that what we call The Word of God is in fact, The Complete, Full, Finished Words Of God? (plenary, verbal inspiration) This is one of the most important questions of Christendom today. How can a book, that contains sixty six books, written by forty different men, over a fifteen hundred year period of time, on three different continents in three different languages still maintain its purity after two thousand years and hundreds of translations? We can now go through the meticulous process of how the assembling of the sixty six books of the Bible were completed or. We could talk about the fulfilled prophecy that is written in the scriptures concerning Christ. Or, we can say the same way I know that Christ is the messiah! Just as my salvation is by Grace through faith so is my trust in God to not only inspire His word but to also maintain His Word throughout the ages. I study from over fourteen different translations of the Bible but when in doubt, I hold them up to the King James Version for consistency.
