“The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.”
The word perfect in scripture carries the meaning of completion, fulfillment and maturity. I am thankful that the Lord is forever merciful or else He would have tired of me long ago. I was a very marred piece of clay when started working on me. It was an act of Grace that He started the work and it will be an act of Grace when He completes His work! I will by His Grace continue to chase after Him this year, praying that He will mold and conform me little by little into a vessel more and more like Him, thankfully knowing that He will not forsake the works of His own hands.
(Jeremiah 18:4)
“And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.”
