“Coffee with Christ”

(2 Chronicles 14:2)

“And Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God: For he took away the altars of the strange gods, and the high places, and brake down the images, and cut down the groves: And commanded Judah to seek the Lord God of their fathers, and to do the law and the commandment.”

Heard a great message last night on “Total Surrender” from these verses. Sad how a person can start out on fire for God, in the first chapter of his life and just two chapters later, die from diseased feet, (staph?) having fallen so far away from The Lord, would not seek God, but rather sought the physicians. Just four years earlier he had trusted Syria to defend him in war instead of The Lord and now trusting doctors without calling on God for healing. Many people have made the same mistake in their lives. America started out as Asa! A city on a hill! A bright and shining star! And as Asa, we have lost our first love? We too have become diseased! It doesn’t take long for the disease of the feet to reach the vital organs and before you know it, it’s over. We don’t need a doctor, we need The Great Physician! Call on the Lord before it’s everlastingly to late! You do not have to perish! Our home, family, church, or Nation does not have to perish! Call out to God for mercy and healing! Don't let diseased feet keep us from walking in the Spirit.
