“Coffee with Christ”

(Acts 27:31)

“Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.”

Paul has appealed his case unto the court of Caesar and has been sent to Rome by ship. On the way they run into storms that threaten the lives of all aboard to the point that many were ready to abandon ship! The words that Paul spoke to the soldiers are words of wisdom to all who would be safe from the storms of life on our journey from the cradle to the grave. Abiding in Christ is the only hope anyone has of salvation. Many get on the ship only to abandon it before it arrives safely at port. The storms of life and cares of the world so quickly draw us away from the only thing that is truly vital for our safety. Our love, dedication and commitment to the good ship of Grace through our Lord. Paul told the church of Galatia in chapter one verse six, I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the Grace of Christ unto another Gospel. The Gospel of Grace or another gospel,…..works? Casting yourself into the sea, the ocean and try to swim your way to safety? You may as well put your hands under your feet and try to lift yourself to Heaven! There is no other way than the Blood bought way! Get on board with Christ! Don’t abandon the good ship of God’s Grace.
