“Can the prey be taken from the mighty man, Or the captives of a tyrant be rescued?” Surely, thus says the Lord, “Even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away, And the prey of the tyrant will be rescued; For I will contend with the one who contends with you, And I will save your sons."

That's a mighty promise and a mighty word from God. It cannot be stopped by Satan.

I preached somewhere recently,where the pastor is an obvious false prophet. The people are in bondage and thick darkness. They fear man, esteeming the pastor as a mini god, and they are consumed by false promises. Yet, Christ sets captives free, as we lovingly preach Him without fear or compromise - in the truth of the gospel, dealing with the obvious issues of bondage from the text.

Christ was with me, though I'm not a perfect preacher, and many listened intently. Some, including the pastor, were visibly disturbed. Who cares? God's after His sheep, and the elect will be snatched from the lion's mouth. They'll see God's love, and love Him back [Rom 8:28-39].
