The character of our God dictates His actions. Everything He does is always one hundred percent in line with His nature and His perfect, holy attributes. He will never fail in His promise for He IS always faithful; He will always punish sin and destroy evil for He is absolutely righteous; He will always do what is best in everything, for He IS omniscient and omnipotent... this means that His judgement is right, His will is perfect AND He has the absolute power to accomplish all that He has decreed He will do! But beloved, He is GOOD, and in His goodness, His mercy endures forever unto all who seek Him, unto all who trust Him, for He surely knows all who are His own! It is this truth that allows us to rest confidently in Him, no matter the circumstance. It is this basic reality which wraps us up in cords of His eternal love and care; God knows His own, and His power is poured out to care for us. It matters very little what the enemy of our souls attempts, for even his worst attacks only serve to accomplish the full and perfect will of our Sovereign God. Our God will never, CAN never fail! And while the fullness of His watchcare over us is perfect, so also is His wrath and punishment upon all who hate Him. Man may think that he can safely oppose the God of heaven and earth, that we can calmly do whatever we wish with no fear of consequence or punishment... and while that MAY be true of man's justice, make no mistake, God will in no wise ignore the guilty, and He will surely not fail to punish all who seek to harm His children, topple His Kingdom and bring shame upon His Son. The perfect, steadfast, glorious will of God is ever at work fulfilling all that He has ordained; so whether this comforts you in grace, or warns you in impending justice... be assured, God will always triumph!!! With this in mind, dear one, I urge you by the grace offered in Jesus Christ alone, fly to the cross and beg for pardon!! Stretch out your hands in faith and plunge into the crimson fountain of mercy that flows from the cross NOW, before it is too late... for when God finally moves in justice and wrath that offer of mercy will be forever closed...
