(Matthew 19:14) “But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
“OF SUCH” Every one in the Kingdom of Heaven is likened unto little children. But in what way? How are we who are saved like little children? Unpretentious? Hopeful? Trusting? Faithful? Innocent? All of these things are traits of God’s children and yet not the childish attitudes of selfishness, jealousy, pride. We want our children to have the best of qualities. They must be instilled in children by the parents. They don’t come naturally. So they must be conformed to the image of Christ by our Heavenly Father through Godly parents. What does it mean, “To come unto Me”? To come to the Christ of the Bible, they must know the Christ of the Bible. Who He is, what he did and why He did it! Bring your children to Christ by teaching them the Word of God!
(Psalm 22:6) “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
