(Matthew 6:33) “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Everyone knows this verse but have you ever really wondered what it means to seek the Kingdom of God first. Many people say they put God first in their lives but then it’s evident that anything and everything else seems to be more important. Putting God first is simply letting what He says is right, “His Righteousness” be the standard of our lives. It doesn’t matter what we like or think. It doesn’t matter what others say or want. It only matters what God’s standard of Righteousness is. Will what my decision is, further the Kingdom of God the most? If I can yes to that question I need seek no further. When you truly put God first and not just give Him lip service His blessings are sure to follow. These things will be added unto you!
(Matthew 6:24) “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and money.”
