(Psalm 116:12-13) “What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me? I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.”
Surly God has been good to me! I was lost, dead in sin and trespass; wretched and miserable, poor, blind and naked. “The pains of hell had gat hold of me!” God allowed me to be brought low that I may call upon Him to deliver me. He heard and answered my plea. Because of His love and gracious deliverance I made a commitment, a vow to Him. “I will forever, live my life for You!” “Oh God, command what Thou wilt, but grant me to do what Thou commandest!”
(Psalm 116:17-18) “I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord. I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.”
