This is the only way for us to prosper as persons, as a people, as human beings. We must turn our hearts and minds to seek after the way of God, the wisdom of His Word, and pursue absolute obedience to His principles and mandates. We are not free to pursue our own ideas, to decide based upon what seems best to us, or upon what others think. We MUST plot our course from the clear directives of scripture. This will necessarily leave us out of step with the culture, and with those who follow the man centered ideals OF that culture. As frightening as it may be to walk alone in the chaos of this age, it is frequently the only way to know the will and pleasure of God. All too often we're guilty of caring more for what people think than what God Himself has said. But we have the promise of heaven that if we will but seek Him, regardless of what mankind may think, then we will surely know the blessings of heaven, and the joy of the Father's delight. He WILL direct our paths if we turn our eyes upon His face, He will guide us with His eye, with His Spirit, with His word... and when He does this, we will surely walk in the paths of truth, of righteousness, of life itself. Dear child, I beseech you in light of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, seek to know the Word and the Will of the Father. Do all that you do in such a manner that God Himself watching pronounces His approbation, and gives His praise of your actions before all, saying "Well done!!! My precious child, well done!"
