Here is the perfect cure for the subtle, insidious play of pride, its chief danger is that it creeps up on us. We are always willing, of course, to seek the face of God for the BIG things, to ask what we should do when we are at our wit's end... but that's the real problem, we lose sight of the fact that we are not able to understand, to do ANYTHING without Him. In the perspective of the Kingdom, it is all too big for us to handle alone. But then, we aren't supposed to try and do it that way. We are called, encouraged, commanded to come to Him for direction about everything, to seek His wisdom, to lean on His power. Not just for the big things, but for everything. And, wondrously, while it's all too big for us, nothing is too big for Him. To our Father, it's all small, it's all manageable, it's all in His plan. Lean on Him, little one, do not for one moment think you can handle ANYTHING without Him, but also remember, with Him, you can handle everything.
