Here is one of the key measures of a Christian. We are stewards of the mysteries of God. We don't get to define what His truth is, or decline to speak it when it is unpopular, politically incorrect or perilous. The truth, is that the TRUTH will always be unpopular, politically incorrect and dangerous. And that, dear child, is quite as it should be. For the world is hostile to God, hostile to His truth and hostile to His people. This is why it is so vital that we be found faithful to speak all that God has said. For the world would gladly leave us alone, even applaud and celebrate us, if only we would compromise, just a little, on the things we affirm and confess about God, His truth and the responsibility that His word places upon us. But we dare not compromise, for we will answer to God. Be bold, be courageous, be clear, but above all, be faithful!!
