Here is the great obligation of the Christian... to pass on to the generations to come, that which we have ourselves been given. We have been given light in the darkness, life in the midst of death, hope in the valley of despair, and a purposeful calling in the deepest seas of chaos... the waters of the deep swirl all around us, but our Christ has become the Rock of our hope and of our promise. And all of this has been given to us, so that we ourselves might give it to others... Oh, favored child of the Most High God... do not ever let your ears be closed to the cry of the lost, your eyes blind to their plight, nor let your lips be bound in silence. Declare the world's of your God and King to a people without hope, without light, without life.
