Here is my heart's cry for all of us, that we would look beyond this day, these trials, those tribulations and truly SEE the King in His beauty, see the home which He has prepared for us, a city where He dwells among us, where peace reigns, where worship is the rule and quiet joy resides in all our days. I pray that we know the full and glorious truth of all that He promised NOW, in our hearts so that it sustains us in whatever we face. Our greatest difficulty in walking in faith today is not the trials themselves, but our limited and narrow view of their actual scope. We think that things will always be just as they are, because that's all we really see. We think trials are bad because they hurt, or because they continue but we never get a clear view of how short they really are, or what glory they are truly producing in and for us... so I pray that we are permitted to see the King in all His beauty, and permitted to gain a savor for the sweetness of our eternal home that carries us through these light afflictions, for they ARE working in us a promised eternal weight of glory... may we feel it's power and its promised end all the days of our sojourn!!
