Our testimony to God's people is a response to His covenant with His creation. It is the unavoidable reaction which rises up in us when we know the faithful goodness of our merciful God. He is who He is. He is always exactly who He said He is. He is always precisely, exactly, perfectly who He has revealed Himself to be. And though we cannot comprehend the fullness of all that He is, we need never fear that we have been deceived, or that He has hidden something that will alter His character. He has always been, and will always be the same glorious, holy, faithful, loving, perfect God that He has shown us He is. This is our security, for His covenant with His creation is the outflow of His covenant with Himself. Which is the deepest expression of His nature. Our response to that knowledge is ALWAYS praise, thanksgiving, hope, love... we give voice to the wonder of seeing Him, the exultation of our song is born from the awe of His presence, and the constant drumbeat of our praise grows ever stronger the more we consider the greatness of our God. Oh precious child, if you are dried up and weary, come anew to the limitless springs of your Father's greatness, let your amazement and admiration find its voice as you marvel at the eternal glory of your merciful God!!
