The Son of God came down from above.

Born in David's city and announced by Angles.

He came to bring peace,

A government and a throne.

Judgment and justice belong to Him,

The Lord will perform His will.

He that should come,

By a sign that would be given.

Through the seed of a woman,

Jesus would be born.

She would concieve and bare a Son,

The Holy Spirit brought Him incarnate.

The Lord Immanuel,

God with us.

His name would be called Jesus,

He came to save his people from their sins.
