Besides giving a doctrinal basis for our opposition to Witness-ology, the book will trace some of the “prophecies” that have been dumped onto the Witness population and from thence to the world. Most of these things we would have to call “predictions” based on study and research, not Holy Ghost utterances. But when the leadership has made a pronouncement about their latest finding, the people listen as though they were hearing from God. And the leaders love to have it so.

Where shall I begin?

We really should start with their name, in the refutation of the Watchtower Society. It is arrogant, to say the least, and unfounded, and actually incorrect from the point of view of the English dictionary, as is the case in much of Witness teaching:

Jehovah’s. Belonging to Jehovah. The claim is that they belong to Him and we do not. They exclude all the church with their title and the doctrines that flow from it. They truly believe that the Isaiah passage (43:10) that says “You are My witnesses,” applies to them and to them alone!

Witnesses. A witness must see something. A witness is called into a courtroom to offer the advantage of eyesight to a question that has arisen. So on what basis do these people call themselves “witnesses”? What have they seen?

Anyway, here is another Jehovah’s Witness book. Yes, there are plenty of them out there. I consulted them, used them in my text, and listed some of them at the end of this work. But this book had to be written by me, for me, to answer the barrage of questions that I received internally and outwardly about these people. For example,

How in the world did they get here? I’ve put the history before you.

How in the world could they rewrite the Bible and cause so many people to follow them? I’ve explained and quoted from the New World Translation . You’ll understand my grief.

Just how extensive is their deception? I’ll share a little of their status.

How bad is their bondage? Some testimonies are included.

How awful is their doctrine, really? Is it worth stressing about? Very awful, really. And yes.

Where do they get all these volunteers, so consistent and persistent and even aggravating, when we compare them to our own feeble efforts to win the lost? A sad question with a sad answer.

What can we do? I hope that this book will be at least one part of your preparation for whatever it is you are supposed to do beyond prayer.

Their Jehovah is not our Jehovah. One last thought before we begin in earnest. Keep in mind that the Witnesses, like the Muslims and all other false religionists, serve a different God than you do. Their “Jehovah”, though they got His Name right, never became one of them. Their “Jehovah” never died on a cross. Their Jehovah never took on Himself the sin problem, to solve it forever. Their Jehovah is of a different substance than their Jesus. Our Jehovah is clearly different.

And their Jesus? Yes, since we mentioned His Name, their Jesus is a created angel, not the Biblical Son of God (though they deceive others using this phrase.) Their Jesus rose from the dead in spirit only. His Body was annihilated. Their Jesus has already “returned” and is ruling the world through the “Witness” organization in the State of New York.

They are on a different page. A different book. A different planet. They are false prophets, false teachers, false people, whose lies will be exposed and punished by the True God, the True Jesus, and His True Church.
