Wow! Where did 57 years go? Happy Anniversary Mt. Zion Baptist Church! June 26 is our Anniversary Sunday. We will also be celebrating several who have been members for 25 years and 40 years! Congratulations to them for sticking by the stuff through thick and thin! We are so thankful for those who remain faithful.
I Corinthians 4:2, “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”
Our church camp is June 27 – July 1. The theme this year is “The Ultimate CAMPaign… Christ may be Resident, but is He President?” Each year we invite other churches to attend and help at camp. This year there are fourteen other churches coming from Indiana, New York, Maryland, Virginia, and Illinois. It is always an exciting time full of fun, great preaching, and of course the wonderful camp food. We have the best camp cook and kitchen staff!
We just finished a busy spring season! One of the many activities was the Mother/Daughter Banquet. It was a special evening where ladies of all ages were pampered with a delicious meal being served by men of all ages. An excellent devotional was given by Marcia Hardecker our missionary who will be leaving shortly for the Philippines. There was plenty of fun, skits, music, and a prize given for the best-dressed cowgirl!

Vacation Bible School is just around the corner. Our theme this year is “Heaven Bound” with a focus on Outer Space. It will be Monday, July 11 through Friday, July 15 from 9:30-12:00 daily with the closing program Sunday, July 17 @ 6:30pm. If you live in the area, stop by for some fun!
