Google claims to have simulated chemistry using a quantum computer for 1st time in human history
Researchers at Google claim to have run the first-ever simulation of a chemical reaction using quantum technology, in a move which may mark a new era in our understanding of the universe around us.
The Google AI Quantum team used their 54-qubit quantum processor, Sycamore, to simulate changes in the configuration of the admittedly rather basic molecule called diazene, which consists of two nitrogen atoms and two hydrogen atoms.
Sycamore, like all quantum computers, uses logical units called qubits which exist in the hazy, ‘either/or’ realm of theoretical physics, which allows quantum computers to carry out unfathomably complex calculations of a type and on a scale that traditional computers cannot handle – essentially performing the erstwhile impossible....

Automobiles are indeed good. But think of the thousands of lives would be saved every year if we lowered the speed limit to 15 mph. If anything, the responses to Covid19 and the reasons given for them have demonstrated that just existing is more important than living, right Jim? It's not fair that you put me in danger by driving 55, and it doesn't matter that you're in Nebraska and I'm in NYS. Maybe you can contact your man Biden and he can propose a 15 mph speed limit national mandate! If just one life is saved....
Quantum computers will have some uses in the future, Mike. Just like anything else, they still can be improved upon. It was like saying what good are automobiles in 1896.

They once created the building blocks of life and deemed God obselote and fictional. Completely ignoring the fact that the material they used to create the building blocks of life were not created by them, in other words they used material already created to create something new. They also didn't admit that though they created the building block an actual life force was not present. I can build a frame to a house but without finishing it and putting a family in there it's just an empty box. Life blocks without a soul is not life of a person. I tend to think that's where this science will lead us even further. An attempt to justify an unjust removal of God from the equation.

I think a key take away is that the universe built and sustained by the Lord runs with such precision and regularity that mathematical formulas can simulate and accurately predict increasingly complex real world things. Google is just starting to do, at a simple level, what God can for all chemistry reactions. God could from before the beginning. And His are real world, not simulated, and He doesn't need some fancy computer.
